Very enjoyable.

How do you choose which car to take, Dave? Do you do it on a rotation, or is it decided on a whim?

Basic rule is by rotation but also depends on the route.
This time I also wanted to test the instrument misting.....
Sometimes I take them both out!

I spent the past weekend at what we are calling the GatorMOG fall noggin or gathering in West Palm Beach Florida. It is about 3 hours from home. I took the 51 Plus 4 for the weekend and it performed flawlessly, while others (Plus 8 Overheat due to fan fuse failing, Roadster headlights failing) had issues. Sometimes the old ones are the best!

Cheers,

Mark

Yes, the 1981 4/4, but not to photo worthy locale like those above. I just went to the gasoline station for a fill up.

Cheers,

Drove Merlin back from Techniques yesterday having had a sports exhaust fitted. She now sounds proper. Called in at Sandridgebury Butchers on the way home to get a massive lamb joint for the family, who have arrived over the weekend. Sort of place Morgan’s should go really.

I have just touched in some of the tired leatherwork with Gliptone Scuffmaster. An outstanding result - I am very pleased. Also just fitted the XJ6 chrome bezels as per Stewart’s mod.

Off to the Grouse & Ale PH in High Wycombe tomorrow, for even more of a family bash, in Merlin of course, assuming the weather is fair. All good clean fun & what could be better?

Tim

300 miles today in my hooligan black 4/4 from York to Church Stretton in Shropshire to deliver one of my Brompton bikes that I sold on Ebay.

Bike sat happily on passenger seat.

Roof off all day..heater on...one of life's better days!!!
