Hello, I bought the car about a week ago. It is amazing, it is something that has to be experienced. I have been reading through the forum for weeks, so much great info here. My M3W is 2016, bought it with 570 miles on it. I put about 200 miles on it in two weeks. I am in Bay Area California, if there are any other owners in the area, would love to meet. Also the car i got has Black Exhaust, but i think i like the regular shiny look better. If anyone is looking to order the black Exhaust or wants to swap them out, let me know.

Welcome to the world of priceless insanity! Enjoy the moment and the buzz.

I really don't want to burst your bubble but here goes:

The shiny won't last. It will eventually turn to black. This exhaust is so hot that most finishes will just go to black. Save your money for what counts.

Fun

What's your mileage? Who cares. Is it practical? See #1. What happens when it rains? You get wet.

Hi Paul, you may find someone in the US who like me has replaced the more common polished stainless silencers (mufflers) with stage tuned ones and consequently has a good spare pair.

You could of course go straight to the stage 1 kit (giving you shiny new muffler/tailpipes) available from various sources in the UK and probably via your dealer in the US. It gives a huge improvement in engine tractability as well as cooler running exhausts.

Yes i like the stage 1 kit. might do that in the future. There should be a titanium exhaust option, would be cool to see it slowly turn purple+ weight savings.

Welcome, neighbor! Let's meet! wink

Make sure you check out the Nor Cal Morgan Club -- they're trying to organize a Bay Area M3W gathering rather soon.

Hmmmmm...8,700 and my shine still exists with a lovely patina of blue and gold from the jugs to the flex joint. From there aft a gorgeous golden hue.

Couple M3W that I saw in person had this blue, gold, purple color change of the headers. I am the second owner, if I specked it myself I would have done a few things differently exhaust would be one of them.
