In June I started to have an intermittent problem with the LCD display in my speedo so when the car went in for it's service they checked it out and ordered a new speedo. Two months later it arrived and I had it fitted but unfortunately it had not been programmed for my car so didn't work. Last week it arrived back with the dealer and I arranged to take the car in Monday to swap over speedos on starting the car the LCD display worked perfectly and continued to do so all the way there and back!
I think this is called "Sods Law".
They will hold the new one in case mine fails again but as you lose the mileage data I thought it best to retain my old unit whilst it was working.

Probably a dry joint needs a soldering iron waving over it....

This is classic sods law, but electronics don't usually heal up.

I ran my Roadster in the garage over the weekend after refitting the fuel pipe, and the oil pressure gauge misted over completely.......

Just the oil pressure gauge.

Is it the black 3 in one instrument the same as on my 2012 Plus 4?

If it’s any consolation that we think it’s just Morgan instruments that mist over I took swmbo Mk 1 TT for a run in the cold with roof down and windows down and when I got home the instruments had misted up. It made me feel back at home in the Morgan!

Any thoughts about another Morgan Roger? It's been a while now.

Believe you me Dave, I think about them every day! Morgan’s are in my DNA. Hopefully when we’ve finished pouring money into property upgrades and get some free time back again then will consider it. After 10 months out from providing accommodation we’re relaunching again at the beginning of December. Seems like that’s in our DNA too!
