Compare and Contrast

A lovely rendition of dads car, here's a near identical shot. The watercolor clearly does it justice!

That looks superb.
Unfortunately, I don't have the space, nor the mechanical ability, to take full care of it.

Cheers,

graham - wouldn't it be great to have the space (and the cash) for this. I'm sure that if I own it I would be keen enough to master the mechanical aspect. (well may be not all ooo

My father, managed to keep it on the road without to much hassle. Although as I've posted elsewhere he did have an engineering background and used to mill his own parts on a pretty substantial lathe in the garage. He also stripped the engine a couple of times; the internals of which look much like a children’s cog set held together with elastic bands!

That's the thing. While I have an engineering background it's in radio and electronics... No lathe, never used one, little chance of me managing to make parts...

Good luck with the sale and condolonces to you and the family on your loss - I seem to have been there a number of times recently...

Cheers,
