Thanks to ROG, I've got rid of some of the annoying noise in the 4/4!
Super good service and fast delivery of upgraded ECU adapted to my 4/4 and Duratec 1,8 l engine.
A fast ECU swap and out on the road for testing!

And WOW, why is not the car delivered with this configuration?

I experienced the following:
More power at low RPM. (Now all the gear fits as they should in town and on country roads)
No annoying piston rattle. (I'm using 69 Oct gasoline)
Less backfire in the manifold.
Less noise from the exhaust system in steep slopes.

I am very pleased so far! Hope to have more tests done in the next few weeks. Must also check the gasoline consumption.

Many would gain from a visit to their local rolling road to improve drivability and fuel /performance.

Hopefully it’s 96 octane rather than 69?

I just assumed it was the Oz equivalent of the old 2-star grin2

I understand the MT75 box is available in 4wd format. Next summer’s new project perhaps?
