I know you like paying attention to detail but it is a bit extreme to buy a new car just to match your sky blue Fellmog badge!

Well I was surprised that you didn’t want a City blue one instead

The car will need some colour so I’m still thinking red badges although I ditched the badge bar and badges on my red Mog about 6 months ago for a cleaner look

We were at the Lakeland Motor Museum today....en route from picking up Wen’s new car....and saw this beauty. Immediately thought of you Stewart....the colour close to your new Roadster.

What a fabulous colour for a Bentley (or a Morgan too come to think of it)

I’ve postponed collecting the new Mog until next Saturday for a number of reasons but had a super chat on the phone today with Richard Williams who told me a lot about the Morgan, it’s history and why it’s the colour it is and it’s first owner.

I think you may have your name. Should you chose to adopt a name.

Had a nice chat to Richard Williams yesterday who told me a bit about the Morgan and his recently sadly departed friend and first owner Geoff Dunsford

The light blue 4 seater Roadster I’ve just bought was ordered through Williams by Bristol Rovers chairman, local businessman and charity fundraiser Geoff Dunsford who sadly died earlier this month aged 66 from a long term battle with cancer

Richard told me that Geoff loved his Morgans and he told me this was his favourite

The light blue was a special order to coincide with the lighter blue that Bristol Rovers had on their shirt at the time back in 2007

I’ve just purchased a Bristol Rovers shirt from this time with the matching light blue on eBay which I will proudly display framed in the garage as a bit of a tribute to Geoff and the Morgan’s first owner

Quite by coincidence, my team Blackburn Rovers (who also have dabbled with the same light blue on their shirts over the years) are playing Bristol Rovers today

Won’t be at the match though as we’ve stayed over in Birmingham last night
