went to start the 4/4 four seater, and guess what battery flat, even though it is on a C TeK trickle charger. so I guess the battery is on its way out. My question is, do I take the plunge and go for an Optima battery or just a regular one? having said that do they manufacture one for the 4/4? Is it worth the extra money, the one that is fitted now is a basic battery and about 4 years old. Also is it worth waiting till spring?

I would be grateful for any advice and comments.

I can highly recommend the Odyssey Extreme PC925

That’s the one I put on my year 2000 4/4 4 Seater

It’s a cracking battery

The one it replaced - the same model lasted 8 years before I replace it

I installed the Odyssey PC680 in My +8 Bitsa. Lasted 8 years. Still OK but was a bit spooky and replaced it. I first saw this Battery on one of Bill Fink's +8+ a Corvette powered Conversion. I asked Him if it did the job. He said it did. I installed it on the scuttle just above the starter. Has worked brilliantly.
