I would like a color change (from silver metal to dark blue perhaps a little metal). How hard is it to dismantle everything before i sent the car to the paint shop?
Special issues?
Does anyone have experience or DIY instructions?

It may be an easier thing to have the car professionally 'wrapped' with a specific colour film, perhaps?

It's clearly going to be a mammoth task to take everything apart for painting.

You don't say what car you have, but assuming you have a trad, I can help. I had my roadster colour changed some years ago by a professional workshop and it was a wings off job. The beading at the joints of the panels means that all 4 wings along with lights and tread runners etc have to be removed. The car was quite new but it still took a significant amount of workshop time preparing for the respray and then rebuilding. The removal and replacing time was in the region of 32 hours !. Maybe there are quicker outfits doing this, especially if they are experienced with a Morgan, but if not, like my workshop it could be an expensive process.

Its a traditional 4/4 from 1984.

if you want to change the color, a wing off is the way to go but unless you have a trailer is better to do it where the car will be paint, as you have to remove the windshield and almost the complete interior + front and rear wings in the engine bay except the bonnet you have not so much to remove. Usually when you this better to have several carton like : front nose, interior, rear, windshield and so on, so when you reassemble the car you know witch part is and where that go (especially for the screw)

I don't think you can find a tuto for a Morgan but for many car for sure Youtube will help.
