The Morgan Motor Company

Dear Mr Baldwin

It is with great regret that I find I have to take time out of my busy working schedule (yes I can imagine you are shocked that a Morgan owner is still of a working age) to write this serious letter of complaint

I understand from fellow Morgan owning friends that a letter has been sent in error to Morgan owners all over the country inviting them to take up a service of their Morgan in Malvern while enjoying a full spectacular Morgan factory experience ending with a ten course tasting menu meal in the works canteen (subject to not running out of ketchup)

Why have I not received this letter sent out in error or the follow up letter telling me that the first letter was an error ?

Do I not somehow qualify for this offer in error?

Surely, having bought a tin of Morgan branded boiled sweets from the online Morgan factory shop some years ago, you know me as a Morgan car owner and have my home address

Is it sheer incompetence that prevents MMC from checking their records and their customers?

My omission from this mail shot makes me feel my business is not welcome in Malvern and although I would remain loyal to my local dealer for servicing, it is the thought that counts

I expect a letter of apology forthwith apologising for the error in not sending the error letter and the letter explaining the error

Yours angrily and feeling expunged from the Morgan owning community

As far as I can recall, without looking at letter #1, it doesn't actually say that the factory tour or afternoon tea is gratis.

I have used the factory twice for servicing since the new set up .ie not having to book in months in advance .
On both occasions the price was very similar to the dealers I have used ,but the most important point was that items that required rectification were done at the same time to a very high standard with out having to return a second time .
Also the factory tour was free as was the service loan car .
All items completed in the same day .
I have also had warranty items rectified that the dealer said was normal or acceptable .
So for me having experienced some dealers lack of speed and thouroghness it will be the factory every time .
