I have to say the power output & the way it's delivered are exactly right as it stands...for me.
I say that deliberately as I'm a firm believer in people pushing the envelope should they wish. I'd even be keen to read all about it, but I've reached that stage in my life where I feel no need to! Not with my meagre money, anyway..!!
If Krazy Horse want to soup up their vee-twin, then go for it, guys! I'll be sitting reading all about it before having a bimble out in mine...quite sedately...but reliably (fingers crossed, ha ha)

I’m reasonably satisfied with the way the rig runs (de-baffled pipes and a G56 air cleaner housing) but the increased tractability sounds nice. Has anyone removed their baffles and then gone to the G56 pipes? If so, were they better? Same as? Worse? $3,000 usd is a fairly heavy hit on a retirement budget but just the ECU and the cams would be affordable. Any opinions on how close that would come to the Stage 2 kit?

I have done exactly that! drilled out front baffles changed air filter (kyruarkin or whatever its called got it from williams morgan) much freer reving better breathing engine. sound is not a lot different to standard, maybe a bit more of a bark! seems to be much better than factory delivered car !! but then saved up and procrastinated for ever! then went for G56 stage 2 kit...... first fitted exhaust's drove for several weeks, seemed smoother somehow exhaust note much deeper and richer!!! Then went to Krazy Horse had cam's and E.C.U. fitted and dialled in on there dyno !!!!!!! Now have a S&S engine that should be fitted as standard.so much more of everything !!!!! so i would say if you have spare $$ get the exhaust and air filter from G56 it does make the car more of what we want..Lot of money but worth it i think>>>>

I’m very pleased with her stock power. I enjoy motoring around, briskly even, but at 8,800 miles to date, no burnouts , drifting, tail wagging, etc. I keep her in between 3,000-4,500 and attend to every rattle that emerges. Maybe that’s why she’s been as trouble free as any Toyota ( being a 2016 model helps too). I look at her design and construction and don’t believe she was built for hotrodding.

+1 Ken, driven with mechanical sympathy all the time although I do go to 5,500 rpm occasionally. But no dumping the clutch with a boot full of revs.
Heel and toe down changes also stop any transmission snatch, and sound good too.

My dealer always remarks that I have the most trouble free M3W they see because I attend to her and know exactly how to drive her. I wouldn’t stress out a horse I rode and loved and I drive/ride my bikes and cars the same way. I take care of them and they return the favor.

I fully agree that vehicles last longer when not abused. I have over 100k miles on the original clutch in my supercharged Miata. The benefit I see from the stage 2 specs is having a more tractable engine. S & S claims on their web site that this particular cam set enhances the engine performance between 2,000 and 5,000 rpms. Presently, I use 3,000 to 5,000 when out and about. The additional bandwidth would be nice... not necessary, but nice. I’m just not sure it is worth $3k of nice....
