I thoroughly enjoyed our little jaunt together along the Atlantic Highway last spring, when I still had Thumper (now called Ted by his new owner, my oldest friend). Your Westmog story was brilliant.

Thanks to all for the kind words even though some of them may not be entirely accurate! I started the blog to amuse myself so it has never ceased to amaze that it gets up to 100 visitors a day from all over the world.

It is tempting to keep the M3W and continue but I feel it is time to move on. No real reason except the clock is ticking and there are other things I want to do. The Morgan acts as a big distraction magnet.

It is at this point you find out how much three year Morgan ownership actually costs. I am happy to report it is far less than you might think (caveats covered in the blog apply) and if you take into account the entertainment value, it owes me nothing.

I only found out about this thread when Wordpress sent me an automated email about a surge in visitors, such is the worldwide interest in the M3W.

Ah, the old Leatherman and pen conundrum. I remember pre Leatherman, doing 767 flying spanner jobs to Moscow with just a Swiss army penknife and a convincing smile. Happy days.

Hopefully, see you in J class in the future but for now I am more than happy to remain in Devon.
