Glad to note that everything fits much better when I inserted two 3mm penny washers , one on either side, as spacers on the steering wheel bracket. It leaves enough clearance from the dashboard to the wipers and indicator stalks bracket on the steering column .

Does anyone know if they bend easyer if they are warmed? eg hot air gun. To cowardly to try. Mine is the mini/dolomite type.
.+8 Now gone for a 1800 4/4. Duratec in bright yellow.

Does anyone know if they bend easyer if they are warmed? eg hot air gun. To cowardly to try. Mine is the mini/dolomite type. I didn't try heating it, I just put a length of ½" bar in the vice and bent the arm around that. A bit nerve-wracking, but it went fine.

Just read this - sorry! A bit behind the door😒.
I’m having issues with the Indicator/Dip-Main beam switch on my ‘97 +4, as the dipped headlights go out when I indicate to turn left. (I don’t know if it happens on main beam, as it’s not a manoeuvre I’d make when they’re on main beam).
Back in the garage, the headlights occasionally stay on whilst the last indicators are on but only if I “jiggle” the wiring on the back of the switch.
No idea how long this may have been the case - I’m not normally out in ‘Morgie’ at night-time, but over the past weeks, we’ve had the hardtop on and have been a bit more adventurous.
Knowing how much knowledge there is out ther, I wondered if anyone can help on this?
