Anyone know the max recommended acceptable weight that can be carried on the factory rack?

Thanks P964 - I can't find the details anywhere but I know I've read it at some point - maybe it's with the fitting instructions.

I’ve bought three Kriega 30 litre motorbike drypacks to use when we go touring so I’m hoping the luggage rack will take the weight of those fully packed! Haven’t used the bags yet but they look well made pieces of kit and come with all the straps I’ll need to fasten them to the luggage rack. While on the subject of kit, have been out this week in the car in the below 5 degree centigrade cold and have used for the first time some excellent Kries heated motorbike gloves I also bought (as, unfortunately, I seem to have inherited poor circulation in my hands from my mother, who had Reynaud syndrome) and they were brilliant at keeping my hands warm. I’d heartily recommend them.

I have a pretty unused set of electrically heated under jacket & trousers somewhere in the depths of the workshop...
