We use a Givi 80litre bag and I've seen two 40 litre bags fitted (his 'n' hers) which imho is the better option although we also packed a foldaway trolley which the bag hooks to and allows easier transport to and from the hotel room.

Last years photo shows the high rise on the rack which although tall & heavy proved to be totally stable on the way to & from Grindlewald. This years trip we scaled down somewhat but still managed to carry more than a travelling circus 😰

Don't knock it until you've tried it - you can get quite a lot in the under bonnet locker - honestly 🤓😜😂

We had 2 40L bags on our rack for the Grindlewald trip no problem at all in fact they cut down wind buffeting at high speed and I reckon reduced wheel spin when pressing on!

2 x 40l Givi bags definitely the way to go. Mine have been completely water proof and are easy to remove with just 2 straps on each.
Mark, maybe a rack extension and one 80L and one 40L bag for next year to keep Hettie happy. Sorry Hettie.
