Another year gone and the adventures continue. I made it to Phillip Island and met up with VICMOG members on a run up Arthurs Seat - a 304m high Granite hill. Then off to the Grand Prix followed by a trip along the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide. Fantastic.
Last month I was in Bathurst for the MOCA Diamond muster. Whizzed around Mount Panarama for a few laps then wondered why the gravel traps were on the inside of bends? Because it runs anti clockwise - doh!! 10 laps later I was full of marvel for the Aero 8 that raced there in 2003.
I was pleased to meet up with Steve Morris in Bathurst and reminisced how he tackled my Le Mans Series 1 in the tin shop. Was it really 20 years ago? Steve was presented with a copy of Morgan International Adventure II to read on the long journey back to the UK.
