Isn't it the 50th anniversary of the +8 next year?  According to MOG magazine, MMC will be building 50 50th Anniversary Plus 8s Now that sounds really interesting... the last 50...at 50. I'd love one, so think a lottery ticket investment is needed. Failing a win then few upgrades to Tarka seem to be in order!!

On a recent visit to the Morgan factory with a few friends (we went to investigate the Morgan Challenge) we found out that Morgan had launch the Aero GT.
One of the party expressed an interest and was directed to contact their dealer as the cars had been launched to the dealers and they had taken the full allocation. Having done so he has secured a Aero GT today. Clearly the cars have been available from dealers to buy.
Anyone disappointed needs to question their Morgan Dealer as they have their allocation to sell.

Paul do you know if they are all staying in the UK as I've been told they were all taken at the international dealer day but no idea which dealers have taken them.
So I'm guessing at best only 6 are for sale now as I've found out who the owner is of the car in the pictures.

Maybe they should have made 17 GT's if they have been making Aeros that long! These engines might be like one of those closing down sales that go on and on - the sale not the engine!

John I am not sure which Dealers took cars from Morgan at the dealer meeting but the one sold today was from a UK dealer and is RHD. I do not think the new owner is on this site, or even a member of MSCC, although they do own a Morgan currently. With only 6 left they are obviously in demand and the dealers who bought them, on the day, will clearly have no issue selling them.

Where will the engines come from for 50 limited edition plus 8s. I thought there were no more available ?
Around 18m ago Dennis de Roos told me that MMC had about 200 V8 engines left with which to build Aero's and Plus 8's and that once gone there'd be no more. He reckoned they'd last into 2018. A few months ago I was told they'd all gone whereas in fact MMC were simply holding back 50 engines for the 50th Anniversary Plus 8 - and it seems 9 for the GT.

My guess would be that Bristol haven't been overwhelmed with orders for this Bristol Bullet and 50 engines have now re-appeared in the supply chain
