My understanding is that the emmsions test is not required during the MOT for a category L5 vehicle (M3W). Thanks, I hadn't realised.

My 2013 has had 2 MOTs @ I was not given any emission check data which I always was with other cars. No test no data to give.

As MMC is not offering to remove the Euro 4 catalytic converter, emission tests are not a problem. But the MOT test manual requires for all types of vehicle that they comply with all relevant regulations, so changing the position of Euro 4-required lights, mudguard widths etc would fail a test or a Police inspection if it was noticed. Or so I suspect.

If you're that worried about a Euro4 car then either buy one of the SVA approved Euro3 spec ones still available from a couple of dealers or get a second hand one.

As MMC is not offering to remove the Euro 4 catalytic converter, emission tests are not a problem. From the MOT testers manual https://www.mot-testing.service.gov.uk/documents/manuals/m4s09000101.htm"Section 9 Tricycle and Quadricycle Testing 9.7 Emissions This Section should be read in conjunction with Section 7 of this Manual. All tricycles and quadricycles are exempt from emissions testing."

At the risk of boring everyone to death, my dealer enquired of MMC about its retro conversion options. I have just had this from him:
Official statement from MMC re Euro 4 to 3!! "The amendment from EU4 to EU3 is completed by AeroRacing, and therefore is not homologated for road use."

Well, it's called Aero ... Racing, so it's only natural that whatever mods they do to the cars are meant for track use ... ... ...
