Earlier this year I was invited by the MMC to take part in a "customer satisfaction" survey of Trad owners. One of the remarks I made concerned the naff plastic handle. It does not bother me that it looks like something from a Morris Marina (and that is probably its origin), but I worry about its durability, especially because the release mechanism is stiff even after regular use.
I am sure that a stronger metal handle of the same design and size must be available...

Dave, I don't think so. They are rounded at both ends. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/FORD-FIESTA-MK6-02-08-N-S-PASSENGER-INTERIOR-DOOR-HANDLE-2S61A22601-AGW-BGW/263336324173?epid=1423255982&hash=item3d50116c4d:g:CFMAAOSwzqFY-k3w

Finished and exactly the look I want. Does somebody know how to adjust the Easy Up Hood cable? I am not talking about the Pins I know how to adjust them. I assume it must be above the spare wheel. Thanks Torsten

I recall there's a nut adjuster on the cable between the two fasteners, or maybe it's on the end of the main cable. Just can't quite remember.

The adjuster is tucked up by the seatbelt reel. It is accessible through the spare wheel aperture. It's a bit of a bugger......
The handle is Ford Ranger

Simon @ SiFab.co.uk And what if you do not have a spare wheel?
