We will be taking the factory tour in January. I hope to ask someone there about the chassis number and specs. I'll post whatever they tell me. I have a lot of research to do because I'm starting a complete restoration. That should be fun! Prior to your visit to the factory, contact Martyn Webb there for the info so he has time to delve in the records for you. If you ask him on the day, there is a possibility he isn’t available to look for you.

Thanks Jay, I filled in the message form on the Morgan Sports Car Company site and hope to hear from Martyn. I couldn't find Martyn's e-mail address o I used the company contact form.

The number on the bonnet flange is mostly rusted through. I can see a rusted character followed by what looks like an "I" and the numbers 32 followed by two more rusted characters.

Better eyes than mine read the chassis number as A 635 so it is within the range. I couldn't see the "3" in A 635 even using a magnifying glass!
