I have an older (1986) Morgan 4/4 with a 14" non-dished Moto-Lita wheel, it fitted very easily and does the job. I also tried a 13" wheel but it made the steering a bit on the heavy side and I didn't need that much extra space.

I had an off centre motoa lita on my short door cars.
This means you can have a 14 inch wheel but the off centre part gives thigh room.

I have a 14" wooden wheel on a motolita boss. I'm 6'02. No problems

Just a bit of advice, when you get the new one, you could at least put it on the right (correct) side.

You might also give the covering some thought. I like leather covered fat steering wheels. I find the wood ones too slippery and the skinny ones tiring for My hands. But in Hawaii You will not be in Your Morgan long so I suppose it will make no difference to You.

Button, great to hear from you again, along with all others who are helping me. Yes, Button, the longest run in this car will probably be 100 miles a day, so leather vs. wood will likely not make a big difference in comfort. And, Fox Terrier, I like the ample leg room of your 13 inch wheel, but sort of think I should try for relief with a 14 inch wheel. I have reached out to Moto-Lita and hope to get a response regarding their recommendations. And, as stated earlier, we will be cutting the seat rails down to gain some room too. Here's a note I got from Jill at Moto-Lita. I still am not sure how to go. An asymmetrical wheel with the flat at the bottom sounds like a logical way to gain clearance from the leg bind. Also, a small amount of dish, as opposed to flat, seems like it makes sense to gain clearance from the signal stalks. Anyway, see below from Moto Lita. Thanks to all! :

"For a Morgan 4/4 1982 we suggest either our Mark 4 leather rim (or Mark 3 laminated wood rim with rivets) or our Offset wheel leather or wood rim, all in 14". The offset wheel has the spokes offset so that it sits giving more leg room and better instrument visibility. Price for the leather or laminated wood rim offset wheel is £199.00, whereas the Mark 3 and Mark 4 wheels are £145.00. The boss you need to fit the wheel is a B25B and is £54.00 in black or can be polished for an extra £18.00. There is a choice of centres depending on whether it is just a cap, or a horn control which can be view in our Accessories section on our website for prices and styles. Prices are plus shipping, and VAT if applicable."

I have an offset wheel. Whilst it certainly improves leg room it does have a disadvantage. If you attack a series of tight bends at speed, such as you might encounter on mountain roads the eccentricity as the wheel is turned sharply, really makes itself known. Feels a bit strange as it “runs a wobbly” through your hands!
