I've had this issue right from the start on my Roadster. The perspex mists up in the cold garage, and also out on the road in cold weather. Three of the four pieces of perspex do this. The rear offside - in the photo - remains clear. When the sun comes out, or by using a hairdryer, the mist disperses.

We concluded after an earlier post that this is micro water droplets which are being attracted to the perspex, but we don't understand why. The most effective blocker so far has been Autoglym tar remover. This suppresses the misting for a week or two. I haven't given up and will try other products over time.

This is today - a miserable wet day with the temperature hovering around 1 degree C.

I have the same problem, but only one of the four pieces of perspex do this.

Certainly a material difference Jens. If you look closely there's a coating. but why some mist over and some don't remains a mystery.

Is one sheet polycarbonate and one acrylic ?

Have you tried a really gentle 'cutting agent' like the ones for soft top window scratch removal ?

Yes I've tried all cutting pastes including Meguiars perspex cleaner. The best by far so far is tar remover...........

Rainex? We used to use it on both sides of motorcycle helmet visors.

Could it be possible that the ones that are misting up are put in the inside out? I seem to remember that perspex is "coated" on one side.

Take the roof down-problem solved!

Rain-ex doesn't work. Visor anti mist doesn't work for long. It mists both sides and is worse with the roof down.

Changing the perspex may be the only cure.
