Never seen one of those but yes, the extra width of the truck rear body makes hand signals useless.

Wow! I love it! I have no turn indicators on my Plus 4 and have to use the arm signals. I can see how this would help.

I have indicators on my vintage Sunbeam, the rear uses the brake light filament. More often than not I just stick my hand out as I never fit the side screens. Sometimes use hand signals on the M3W.

You put your hand out the windows to signal if you were going right or left still part of the Driving test I'm told in the 60's in the UK. It was still part of my driving test in the early 1970s.

Every country seems to have used different hand signals. I was taught in Australia where the stop and right hand turn signal is the same (forearm raised and palm forwards).
