I have run this setup for over 20,000 miles and its never been damaged so I would worry. Its acrylic and its thick but if it did get damaged you could always get a replanenr cut locally.

you can possibly make a protection that would be fixed on the front plate or the registration plate. I took it off for the design but everything is possible....

Your crankshaft drive bolt looks to be a pre mod version. (The one on the end of the crankshaft that drives the camshafts, at the very bottom) These have a habit of coming loose and damaging the cam cover. It is reasonable to assume that as yours has not failed so far it will be fine but it would be a shame to damage that nice cover.

Modded versions can be identified by a bi-hex bolt. May be worth considering. Mine came loose and while the bolt didn’t unwind through the cover the car had to be recovered and repaired. S&S do a mod kit.

I still have the Morgan M4L wine Shaun.
Louder than the Stage 1 M3W even in unmodified form.
