So you'll stay in Portugal for another week? That would be really cool! Here's the Motorfestival poster

Caramulo is about 250 kms north from Lisbon, most of them can be done by motorway unless you want to search for some scenic places going north.

Calum will arrive to the mountain thursday (Sep 7th), Gambalunga and myself on friday (Sep 8th). I will be coming from Algarve in the south but most probably will need to stop in Lisbon first so from the 3 participants I will probably be the last to arrive, late evening on friday and head directly for scrutineering.

Check your own agenda and let me know your plans, we'll sort where and when to meet. We are one week away!

A question guys about the timing belt. Now that i have the washers between the cover & the engine ..i have noticed some oil, a finger length when i wipe the bottom of the timing belt cover after a days drive. Is that normal?

Yes but monitor the situation. If you start to see a pool of oil on garage floor after a long drive, further investigation required. It's usually one of the four camshaft or crank seals weeping.

Remove the cover&inspect the cam/crank seals.
If they are dry,oil is almost certainly weeping,in tiny quantities, from the interior, past one of the 2 lower bolts holding the cover in position.

I removed the timing cover & found some white dust, i believe its from the new belt. The 2 lower bolts had oil on them. I added some gasket sealer on the bolt threads & reinstalled everything. That should be it?

While no roll bars looks slick, if he ever rolls over he will take 5 off his top as well.
