Not forgetting Melvyn Rutter

https://mogparts.net/index.php/round-door-mirror-and-arm-to-fit-acr016-mount-stainless-steel.html

But this one looks exactly like mine on the car at the moment as isn’t described as convex so I’m going to stay clear of this one as well

I replaced the standard mirrors with John Taylors convex round ones and the rear view mirror with the large Librands slightly convex one.

https://www.librands.co.uk/products-view-69.html

Together, they improve all round visibility dramatically. Should be standard safety kit.

I've always got on OK with my "standard" ones. Cannot really change anyway as they wouldn't match the painting lol.

I had nothing at all against the traditional oblong ones, in fact I rather like the look as the round ones look a bit lollypoppish (technical term) but I just couldn’t, however hard I tried, get the near side one to adjust to an angle where I could see to reverse into my garage cleanly close against the near side wall

It wasn’t the field of vision on the mirror, it was the ball socket and arm I couldn’t adjust correctly

New ones are on and I also had just enough of DaveW’s neoprene gasket to go around the adjuster plate

If anyone wants to see the difference in the two mirrors together, I enlisted the help of a handsome model to pose for the camera!!

You can see the existing ones on the left are smaller and have a flat field of vision.

I am going to investigate whether the Holden’s replacement 100mm diametre replacement convex mirror replacement will fit into my existing ones

If it does and it works I might swap them back and sell these new ones on

I just hate to make these old ones completely redundant to just sit in a box for ever and a day ready for if I ever sell this Morgan

I’m trying to cut down on unnecessary storing of bits and pieces
