Lots of photos please.

This car 320i which makes it a 1800cc

I'm sure the badge on the boot lid say's 316. Or am I missing something here?

I guess it doesn't really matter what the original is given it will all be very special by the time it's finished.

My mistake and you are correct, this is a 316 which had the 1800cc engine

Thank God you got a bit of the dogs back on that photo . Flicking through it I spotted a head and thought your hair had grown so much you had been doing a Robinson Crusoe in the garage. You are lucky my Staffy never helped me just lay under the engine so I could not go out without him more like a fox than a dog.

I once did the opposite: made an ex-racing car (slalom) into a road going one.

So today amongst my other work I successfully removed both front wings.

Then I removed both doors & finished off removing all the sound deadening from the floor area & rear seat panelling.

As you can see, there is a repair patch on the passenger front foot well this will be addressed along with the hole in the drivers side front foot well, possibly new floor pans.

Overall I am amazed at how solid this car actually is.

There is a major job happening on the her tomorrow, which should be exciting!
