Hello everyone. I am sorry if this has been covered before, but isn't that what forums are for ? I want to upgrade the standard 4 speed box in my 1982 CVH engined 4/4, to the later type 9 Sierra gearbox that I have. I gather this is quite straight forward, but is there a thread or article on this site, with all the details, please ? Kind regards, John.

A pal of mine runs a workshop specialising in 'enthusiasts' cars, as well as doing the run of the mill cars. I know he had a CVH 4/4 in a couple of years ago and fitted a 5 speed type 9 box, so knows what he is doing. If you can get it to Taunton I'm sure he would do an excellent job for you. If interested send me a PM and I'll let you have his details.
