Sports Direct has an enormous stock of shoes, many of which would be perfect for driving, many are the Piloti style. Go and see.

Brantano do some good narrow fitting light soled shoes in their Orchard range for around £30 I have had a couple of pairs over the years. They have an extensive range of sizes .

Puma drifcats are very good at the job, but they look chavy. I don’t normally buy anything on the net, but in the case of sports direct, anything to avoid going in there must be a good idea. I have a pair of brown suede driving shoes I bought in London from “the car shoe company” they’re hand made and not an absolute fortune. http://www.carshoe.com/uk/en

The ones at the factory are soft leather lined 'Anatomic', about £120, just right for driving the Morgan. I bought a pair to replace my usual boat shoes.

Bought a cheap pair of racing boots to try and stop my size12’s fouling other pedals. Very comfy ( like gloves) but only for driving. You HAVE to put them on to drive and take them off to walk....a real pain ( plus my wife and daughters call them my “Pixie boots”)
