I was meaning to ask you Atalante83, what happened to the front mudguards? Admittedly they are much heavier than they need to be but they do a good job of keeping the road debris out of your eyes and other peoples windscreens. Do you remove your front wheels frequently?

Do you notice the difference in ride/handling due to the big reduction in un-sprung weight? If you do, then I might consider getting some made up in carbon-fibre (yet sprayed to look stock). Always thought it should make some sort of improvement?

Ringa you might consider a mod to make getting the wheel off easier if you get new mudguards.

I would indeed. Really hoping to hear that the removal of so much weight reaps the expected benefits.

R1NGA, if you remove the mudguards and the steel "radiator" cowl you could be in a lower road tax weight bracket, that would be a benefit wink .
