Just watched the launch, all seems to be going well. I must say that the idea of a Tesla Roadster complete with dummy astronaut, "DON'T PANIC!" displaying on the control screen, "Life on Mars" playing on a loop from the stereo, setting off to orbit the sun is very cool.
Well done Space X.

I have to say the man's got style! That Tesla's going to be on its eliptical orbit for over 500 million years. Even Morgan trads are not going to last that long.

Where is he planning to plug it in then  Isn't that just what we need a lot more junk out there in orbit.

It's in orbit round the sun, Rich. I don't think it'll be much of a problem, just another tiny asteroid.
