I wonder why Ferrari arent bothering with this trend. Or Lambo or McLaren. Could it be that unlike Jaguar, their icons arent behind them. After all, and I say this as someone with an F type, Jaguar only really made two great sports cars, the D and E types.
Would I have one of these replicas? Of course I would if I could afford it. Mind you I think I might prefer an Enzo.
The C Types weren't bad either and neither were the XK120's
To recreate some of the classic Ferraris would be extremely expensive given the specialised nature of most of the components, including the engines.
Jaguar had the advantage of sharing more items with the road-going cars which were relatively mass-produced.
