Agree totally in travelling light. First major trip took a wardrobe full of stuff in morgan leather suitcase.
Almost killed me humping it up and down stairs in various hotels. Never again.
Now using a single Eagle creek pack and Rohan stuff for myself.
SWMBO still to be weaned off her addiction to multiple outfits. Bought BRIC case for her stuff.

Welcome to the madness of morgan. Great choice I solved the storage issues by going 4 seater  Plus a rear luggage rack.

That Bedford Van looks great too!
I know that's a rare camper. The van version was the first van I ever drove in 1967 it had a tricky column change.

Worthwhile tracking down a spare clutch cable and keeping it in the car.
Re luggage space - you will need to experiment. For a touring holiday, Eagle Creak make some useful packing accessories - available off Amazon in UK not sure about your part of the world.
