Well, I use EXALEAD which lets you put some direct links to your favourite sites and small screenshots of these. So your favourite is just one click away. The search engine they use was quite good a few years ago but now it´s ru***sh, imho.
People use iGoogle, which is quite convenient, but I don´t trust them at all.
What´s your starting page?

I use Google Chrome with the 'Preview' options and works well enough. I agree though that I am not sure I trust them really! I use this URL - http://www.talkmorgan.com/ubbthreads.php/forum_summary
