I’ve just been on WhatsApp for the last week
What’s so good about it and why do people use it instead of texting etc? If you attach images on WhatsApp, like on Messenger, it doesn’t cost you anything whereas a picture text costs something like 40-50p a time bad not included in free text allowances.

It’s better than text IMO as the end-to-end encryption ensures only you and the person you're communicating with can read what is sent, and nobody in between, not even WhatsApp.
Your messages are secured with a lock, and only the recipient and you have the special key needed to unlock and read your message.

Looks like a scam to me. Relying on the receiver being too hasty to check it out. A bit like car insurance renewals (  ). Similar to email based scams etc. I use it and it is a good app.
