Hi Neil and welcome from an ex northern NSW aussie. You will have no problem putting a briefcase and a hold-all behind the seats and then with a suitcase on the luggage rack you are set for two weeks touring. At least that's our experience with the '68 44 but we are both well travelled and know the benefits of packing lightly. If you are travelling with the hood down, putting the side screens on will free up luggage space and also make the cockpit a more comfortable place at speed. Hood up - even more space.

Hello auster. I take it you are a pilot too so you will understand the size of my pilot's bag which I use as a briefcase. I was just checking but think it will fit, and I will buy a Morgan bag for my wife to go behind her seat. And a suitcase as you say. This is our first Morgan after 40 years of research (we tend to think things through) and we are with you on having the side screens up. Everyone is entitled to vanity. Where is the Auster?

I take it you are a pilot too so you will understand the size of my pilot's bag I must admit I've always wondered why pilot's bags are so large. I understand in the olden days it was probably necessary for carting about paperwork, but in these days of GPS navigation and electronic documents, what do you guys put in there?

Buy the Hills Alive cases. Not cheap but my wife can get 2 weeks stuff in one. +1 Though I haven’t trained my wife to get 2 weeks stuff in 1 yet  Packing a MOG for an Australian trip, NO problem Plenty of room for a Sarong and a toothbrush...... On a serious note you may need to investigate a good luggage rack and suite case for longer trips......

They are built to carry chart folders but also are used for personal effects, if luggage lost or flights delayed. And for behind the seats of a Morgan, perfect!
