I am under strict instructions by my Dealer to keep the car standard or he will slap my legs!!! But: My Grandfather used to trial an Austin 7 special in the 60's and he used to confuse and amuse me as a youngster with the script on his car. In his memory I have always had this on my " fun" cars  Prunus Dulcis would also be highly appropriate.................... "Sweet Almond".............

Hello Kev,
I have just bought SS04MOG the Almond green one from Holden Morgan. ( I have posted pictures under post SS04MOG).
What a car, as so eloquently put in your various posts I have enjoyed reading.
I have a 78 +8 “race car” and it is just as exciting to drive, although the SS steers and rides much better over poor roads.
Holden gave no information on tyre pressures or suspension settings, what are you running with?
Do you know how many green ones were made?
I would love a brochure if anyone has one.

Hi Steve SNAP !!!!!!  I went after your car but in the end it went to auction as you know and then on to Holden Morgan. I wondered if you would show up here. I believe efforts are being made to form a Supersports Register and find out build by colour etc but as yet I have not had a reply from David Allington. I'm out tomorrow for a 150 mile drive to learn more about the car..over the Yorkshire moors and along the coast road on some of my favourite roads. Hope we can meet up sometime...we are a rare breed !!!

I have the car set up at 20 psi on new tyres..I think your tyres are original and even at 1700 miles run they will be hard due to age.
New tyres would be a good move if you don't like the ride.
Suspension settings: 4 clicks on the front and 6 on the rear.
Suits me...great handling without bottomimg out
