Just a note to let anybody interested know about an album of photos from one of my stepdad's early factory visits, circa 1978. I have uploaded them into the TM gallery, there are a couple pages of images. This is primarily for those who don't do Facebook, as I posted them there previously. Apologies for photo quality, the album was not in very good shape when I found it.

Nice images from the era in which I first got the Morgan bug (while at University) to. What I recall from factory visits in the early 80s is lots of pop music and pinups, both of which were conspicuous by their absence during my tour last summer. This time around the works looked spic and span and the guys were all in Morgan branded shirts rather than shirtless. Many thanks for sharing.

Thanks for posting, thats about when I got interested too, but finally got to the factory in 2000, and noticed many changes last year when I revisited. In 2000 I recognized all the old lathes as the same as we had at the foundry and marine engineering place I worked at - now I see CNC lathes and a more PC environment as we all have had to adjust with the times, sh.. I am sounding old

Just for the record, the album is here: http://tm-img.com/album/crVh

That's a very nice set of pictures, thanks a lot for posting.

I love this one, presumably it's the crash test car (hopefully!!)

Perhaps we can do here a vintage Morgan picture thread. I like the old pictures from the past.

Like this Vintage-motorcycle-pic-of-the-day thread, now 716 pages:

Thank you very much for sharing. My wife and I have a visit booked for 16th May 2018.

It's a present from my daughter for my recent 70th birthday and I am really looking forward to it.
