My 1961 +4 four-seater only has lap belts, which bolt to the cross beams on the chassis. Are shoulder belts required in the UK even if they weren't originally fitted? Or do you want them for safety reasons?
I've decided to stick with lap belts and spend the energy on installing decent rear seat belts for my passengers. (Originally there were no rear seat belts at all!)
