The Morgan Aero 8 series 1 didn't have a full length dash and therefore, there was a small, recessed, shelf in front of the passenger seat. Morgan supplied a small Mullbery bag, aka a glove box you could take with you, to fit on this shelf. Many of the Aero S1s have lost these over the years and therefore, it is a nice piece of history to have with the car. My S3 came with a Mulberry bag - was it not a standard option for the later models as well? The dealer did say it was meant to slide in as a glove box but it doesn't actually fit...maybe that's the reason why! So, errr, you don't necessarily need it for yourself then......:)

Thanks Peter. Thinking about it afterwards, I wondered whether it was something along those lines. Grand stuff. All you need now is a red Series LR with a ladder on top!  Cheers,

Cheers, I just wish , then I could prune the trees and undergrowth, red siren sounding, I will try to record the sound Graham and post it, just for fun......... still waiting for the top steering column bearing to arrive, have itchie fingers and want to get it done....

No it wasn't standard, nor have I heard of it being an option; therefore, it was either made specially for that car (on request of the original owner) or bought as a spare from the parts department.
