It looks like a new car Stu

Stuart Green]I do most of the 3 page washing and waxing instruction you'll find on here. But I often do an interim wash if there's a tiny speck of dust after driving the car. I thoroughly rinse and then use a 2 bucket system to wash the car (Williams use a 4 bucket system) This Xmas I got a large microfiber towel. And this completely dries the car, only getting wet all over towards the last strokes, when it leaves some moisture, which I dry with another microfiber. Takes 10 minutes. I have a witness who says it looks pretty good after that, and he's a Morgan owner.

I use Autoglym Aqua Wax to dry and lightly polish in one go after washing.

Seems to work well on a red car

I use 2 buckets to wash the car then soak up the rinse water with microfiber towels. I have bought some from outdoor gear places and they absorb the water very well. I have seen people claiming to use distilled/deionised water for a rinse www.detailingworld.com)or rainwater from a collecting butt.I also use an air blower to blow out crevices round beading etc. especially prior to the waxing. I only wax about 3 times a year with a clay session included.

James, thanks for the link. It's the best price I've seen it at. Without your link I can't find it on the website. Searching for Meguiars or Waterless or Wash didn't return anything. Was your link from when you bought some?

They accepted my order so I'll just have to wait to see if it turns up.

- not recently Ken, but I did stock up on it a while back from these guys and all was OK. thumbs

The price seems to fluctuate a lot and it's the only Mequiars product I can't find in bulk/trade packs....

When we visited Meguiar's for the detailing seminar a few weeks back, the Meguiar's guys were careful to explain why that is. The premium range of products (including stuff like the Ultimate range) are blended and manufactured for maximum quality, whereas the industrial and commercial ranges are produced for maximum efficiency/cost per car.

So there'd be no point doing bulk packs of Wash and wax, it's too good for the trade to want to use and would go off before the average home enthusiast had used it all.
