Mine shows 3/4 full when full and 1/4 full when empty. Chocolate teapots, handbrakes on canoes and handlebar mounted ashtrays are all more useful!

My Gauge used to stick on full, now sorted under warranty but I never trust it so, like Graham, I keep a fuel log on a spreadsheet going. Its a bit of bother but interesting as I have a running average MPG (29.8 MPG after 2200 miles at the moment) from new, and a record of the trips made and total fuel costs to ire me.

I suppose that is all in keeping with the biggles image that goes with the rest of the car. Must get myself one of those leather flying helmet thingies....and a spreadsheet!

I left the bit off my spreadsheet! It's interesting to look at the mileage figures though... When I remember, I also add KP greasing and other routinne maintenance bits... Probably rather sad... Cheers,

Must get myself one of those leather flying helmet thingies....and a spreadsheet! I am happy to share my Full Spreadsheet with any takers. There maybe someone out there who could make it more dynamic as I need to adjust the formulas every Time I add fuel (when it recalculates average MPG) Needs an email address though. (PM me if interested)
