Have we reached ‘Peak Coffee’ ?

When did a Cappuccino become too frothy?

When did a Latte become too milky?

When did a white Americano become not milky or strong enough?

Why is the UK going mad for Flat Whites?

So what is this stuff called "coffee"?
Never touch it, the only hot drink I ever have is Breakfast Tea, made to "builders" spec, no sugar, lovely!!

I feel that we are entering our next phase and going the same way as:-
"The Rise and Fall of the Roman Empire"
We have so much in our world that the type of coffee you drink, the type of 'phone you use or how big are the holes in your jeans have become paramount for a happy life.
Thank goodness we have our Morgans and can escape.

Here for a good time not a long time!!

Thank goodness for Tetley tea - no nonsense and no snob value whatsoever.
Straight off the factory floor into the bags simple..

Ground coffee is ok but very over rated IMV. I'll drink it if there's no tea around.

This is one aspect of modern life that I think is simply marvellous. We used to think being poor was something, if not to be ashamed of, at least something to be discreet about, one never liked to flaunt one's poverty.

But nowadays we see young ladies, clearly of limited financial means, proudly walking around despite the fact they cannot even afford the thread to darn the holes in their jeans. They aren't ashamed of their poverty, and jolly good luck to them!

I have to say though that this doesn't seem to have improved their manners. Whenever I stop to congratulate them on their self-confidence, I get very short shrift. I can't think why...

The holes in my jeans are hard fought. Or is it hard won.......
My garage jeans have a rectangular leather patch, glued, not stitched. Despite being through the washing machine, the patch is stuck firm, thanks to Wickes contact adhesive.

I suspect their synthetic roof seal would be even better.

On the matter of coffee I enjoyed a Cappuccino long before it was fashionable. Now my favourite coffee shop is full of students on laptops keeping warm and making one coffee last all morning.

I wasn't a fan of the split jeans until the other day when driving through Paignton, there was a young lady striding out on the pavement with two holes around the cheek area and it was perfectly formed.
Her good self was beside me and I almost got a slap when I said she looks cheeky.
