It is interesting to read the different opinions on flat white!

I want to come out as a hobby barista:
Did you know that the basis for many coffees is an espresso? Except for filter coffee, of course.

A flat white is very similar to a cappuccino. In simple terms, the difference lies in the consistency of the milk foam. In the case of cappuccino it is rather coarse-pored and firm and in the case of flat white it is fine-pored and liquid (the term texture has already been mentioned here).

How coffee tastes depends on many factors. In addition to the correct preparation, the beans used and the roasting of the beans play a major role.

The coffee scene in the UK has developed significantly in recent years. If you avoid the big chains, you can get excellent coffee.

With coffee it's similar to Classic Morgans: for the layman a 4/4, Plus 4, Roadster, Plus 8 and maybe even a Speedster look the same. People who are interested not only recognize the individual models but also the years of construction and modifications.

Someone who doesn't care about Morgans drives a tin top. Someone who doesn't care about coffee drinks tea (not serious!).

As you can imagine, I love coffee (I roast my own beans), but for breakfast it must be tea. coffee

I’m with Ewan & Michael P. A flat white for me, never from a chain. You can’t go past a well produced coffee. For breakfast a strong tea with just a tad of sugar. For evening a camomile tea. After lunch a beer.

Cheers

Who ever thinks Starbucks sells good coffee might also call McDonalds a restaurant.
