If its anything like last year Steve then this will be one of the highlight races. To see these old cars being driven with such enthusiasm & disregard for their age is amazing.
The only problem this year is whether hypothermia for us spectators will have set in by the time the race is due!

John Bolster was quite a chap, great to see he has a tribute race.
I recommend his book "Specials" it's usually available on EBay or elsewhere.
His own special "Bloody Mary" went through several iterations, I seem to recall that it once sported four JAP V Twin engines.

Love these old cars! I've seen most of them in action at VSCC races- the last photo (no.6 sideways on the grass) is Dougal Cawley, boss at Longstone Tyres, in 'Piglet' a Frazer Nash with Ford? engine. Loads of 'patina' on the car, as its never cleaned, the battered 'Bowler hat' on the bonnet houses the distributor. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0bm74_fR4z4

I'll be there shivering at the circuit but it will be streamed live on the Goodwood website for those who can't make it.
There are four Morgans in the race this year, one of them apparently with a radial engine:

...and a 1961 Morgan Plus Four Super Sports in the Moss Trophy.
Eight Morgans in total. A lot better than last year when I don't think there were any. I just hope they can all cope with the snow!
