Easier and cheaper than having fully custom made ones.

That s what I do wilson I bought A mudguard without wishbones And I made A mounting Plate .
The kit is one of ten made by Alain
He sold all but perhaps he can make another série
He respect the géométrie of the origînal one And from my point of view it is more mecanical. I dont have confort kit And I notice the Mtw is easier to drive

Personal opinion: I think that the operation of the unibal kneecap wears less while operating like that (pulled / pushed) without lateral force.

So if I have got it correct one purpose of both Raphy's mod and the Empire kit is to be able to alter the caster angle on the upright by moving the top Uniball backwards and forwards. This being done by adjusting the spherical joints at the inner ends of the top wishbone. Secondly to make the static angle of and arc described by the top wishbone in bump, closer to the angle of and arc described by the steering link coming from the rack. Now given that I have already achieved a distinct improvement in the latter, by fitting the Morgan Steering Comfort Kit, which raises the attachment point of the outer end of the steering link to the steering arm and braces that from the top Uniball, how much additional benefit would I get from the modified top wishbone?

I should have added that the shorter top wishbones will lead to increased negative camber angle on compression of the suspension in cornering, as it increases the "unequal wishbone effect". Whereas I can see the point of this for those still using the Avon sidecar tyres, which tend to suffer from "tuck-under" in hard cornering or using rounded profile racing motorcycle tyres, I see far less benefit for folks like me who are using the flat tread and stiff sidewall, car competition tyres, like Excelsion Comp H or Blockleys. These don't in my experience suffer from "tuck-under", so an increase in negative camber in cornering roll might have an adverse effect on adhesion.

The main featute of the two kits being discussed is that the shorter upper wishbone gives desirable negative camber to outer wheel when cornering and hence under compression. It also places the pivot point of track rods closer to upper suspension pivot point.

The standard setup does have a slightly shorter upper wishbone but nothing like the after market kits.

The MMC comfort kit is a halfway house solution to bump steer on early models pre 2014.

I think with any "car" type tyre you're going to see positive camber relative to the ground when a car rolls to the outside.

If you had perfectly equal length upper/lower a-arms, if the body rolls outward in a corner 3 degrees, the wheel/tyre will roll equally outward at the top creating positive camber.

In un-equal a-arms, the compression of the outside suspension in a roll creates, as you've said, negative camber relative to the car. But relative to the pavement it helps counteract positive tilt out at the top during a body roll turn. This helps keep the tyre flat on the pavement.

But for normal driving I doubt either would be much of a detriment to tyre wear or handling.

I think you'll find almost every car on the road without McPherson struts will have shorter upper than lower control arms, or un-equal length control arms.

I have had the Empire Kit fitted to my 2013 M3W for a few years now. I think if the original set up from Morgan had been like the post 2014 cars I would have been happy with that. As it was though it was fairly lethal on anything but smooth roads and not great on them either. The Empire Kit was available before Morgan did their small adjustment and half fixed the problem.

The Empire Kit and probably Alains, improve matters and help considerably with removing most of the tendency to understeer that todays cars still seem to have. The car follows a corner more accurately without the need for mid corner corrections. I use Blockley Tyres with Spax adjustable shocks and it all seems to work quite well.
