Are we seeing the same forecast? BBC have light rain to 09:00 and cloudy thereafter. https://www.bbc.co.uk/weather/0/2640995

Further details may follow, but having topped up the oil and taken over an hour to get the bonnet back on (because of those very annoying (being polite here) dzus fasteners) and driven down in the rain and dark (as we set out late as result) to stay the night outside Salisbury, the car has failed to restart this evening so we are a serious doubt for tomorrow. As this is the first long trip in the car since we got it, I am (being polite again) none too happy.

I find there is one sequence of closing them on mine which works but anything else doesn't. More importantly - gutted to hear about the non starting. Had you just filled up with fuel as this can sometimes cause starting issues? Fingers crossed for you it starts OK tomorrow. I'll PM you my mobile number in case there's anything we can do.

Many thanks, Chris. I filled the car up in Oxford and it got all the way to Salisbury before it wouldn’t restart so I don’t think it’s that. Just having breakfast now in the pub we’re staying at and then will see if the car starts. Fingers crossed 🤞🤞🤞

The sky was grey, light drizzle but a great turn out. Breakfast at the Old Sarum Cafe, full English for £5.00!! Then across to the Boscombe Down Aircraft Collection for a good look round. The M3Ws were invited to park up in formation outside the hanger doors with the Boscombe Down Hawker Hunter, and jolly fine the look too! Pilots at the ready, ready to scramble! Some scruffy formation positions on the port wing here! They look very small next to a Hunter! The hangers are from 1917, built by POW labour and are now Listed Buildings And where was Tarka, you ask? This was a M3W event, Tarka has one wheel and 6 cylinders too many..so I stayed out of the way. If anyone wants the original images send me a PM with your e-mail and I'll ping them over. Cheers,

Hats off to those magnificent men in their flying machines for braving the weather - a great line up and lovely pictures Peter.
That looks like a Provost nose behind the Hunter.
