Esmeralda's spare whel cover.
Much as I like to see the trads with their spare wheel sitting proudly at the rear, I decided to provide some protection from U/V light.
This is my solution, a plastic wheel cover from a Suzuki Jimny with a hole drilled in the centre, vinyl wrap it and add a Morgan logo.
Nev.

Looks great with the Morgan badge, much better than the Suzuki cartoon rhino.

Interestingly there's a stainless, lockable one available.... https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Suzuki-Jimny-or-Vitara-Steel-wheel-cover-rear-spare-tyre-wheelcover-lock-keys/272831519277?epid=1188264238&hash=item3f86069a2d:g:RUAAAMXQaBtQ9UrX

Hi does anybody have name and contact details to purchase rear axle bearings for my plus 4 2007 please. Bertie M If your rear axle bearings are knackered after only 10 years I would suspect there could be something wrong with your rear axle. I would have a chat with Billy Bellinger at JB Sports Engineering. If it is just the bearings, then he would know the appropriate replacement. It's not, however, a trivial job. I'm quite keen on doing all my own work, but I still got Billy to rebuild my rear axle. Which, by the way, was over 25 years old and had done nearly 100k miles. The diff was knackered, which is why it needed a rebuild. The bearings were fine, but were changed because it made sense as the axle was apart anyway.

What does it mean if a service agent says " we shimmed the back axle"? Nick

As I understand it Nick they need shimming to minimise noise and wear, if you look at the drawing you will get a feeling for it. From new these need setting carefully, this is a specialist job. It's done to ensure you don't get that whine that is always present when you drive an old unladen Transit . http://www.gomog.com/allmorgan/salisburydiagram.jpg
