Last Wednesday I heard a "boom". I thought either sonic or another minor quake. Not so....In the local paper today it said that unexploded bombs were being blown up by the Bomb Disposal. I think it was possibly in the Whitford Sands area across the Loughor Estuary from us as it is a noted and signposted danger area for old ordnance.
We are also near Pembrey range but not as near as the old house. Over the years there have been some great sights of bombing on the range and planes going up and down the Gwendraeth Valley on cross country low(ish) flights. Planes of all sorts and nationalities.
