That looks like a Provost nose behind the Hunter.

It is indeed, Jet Provost T4 XR650 a complete aircraft minus engine formerly DERA, and CATCS. The Hunter is a F6A, XF375 and the Comet nose in the background is a De Havilland Comet C2 XK699, named Sagittarius and the only part of a Comet 2 in existence. All other preserved Comets are the later Comet 4.

Thanks Peter I'm going to have to trundle along there this year I think, I didn't know they had a display area.
Did you get to see their airworthy Lightning at all or is flying kit OOB.

More of a shock to find Old Sarum is in Somerset - I assumed it was in Wiltshire wink
Snow on the side of the A34 and M4 today so its certainly hanging around.
Great turn out - congrats! Will plan to call in there too later on!

Touche! My bad for trying to be a clever dick! Hope you had a good ride!

A303 vs A30 for an M3W would be an interesting choice - especially the single lane A303 sections.

Thanks for that Kev, looks like you all had a good time today. - I've been resting up with a heat bag as I've twisted my back closing the car door & something went ping but sure I need to get the M3W out and about.

Hopefully we'll be out & about soon

Rgds M
