I too watched that a few days ago and found the chap a real pain. A bit too much of a happy chappy and he interrupted too often.
Is the £36,000.00 for a 4/4 the ex vat price? Of course, you will want wheels and an engine with that Sir!!

Jon would have quoted pre-tax prices, given the European nature of the show and attendees. For the UK add in any options and VAT, plus the OTR price.
